Longgang National Geological Park
Yunyang Longgang (Dragon Jar), National Geological Park Located at Yunyang county, Longgang is the largest Karst-Shaft in the world. It was named Longgang, known as Ą°Dragon JarĄ±in Chinese, for itĄŻs unique shape that looks like a huge geological jar, with hundreds of meters long and deep. It has been rated as an AAAAA scenic area, integrates heavenly pit, gorge, karst cave, alpine pasture, forest, and Tujia customs. With a maximum depth of 335 meters, itĄŻs the third deepest in China, and fifth in the world.

Cloudy Lounge Bridge-----It is the worldĄŻs longest glass cantilever bridge, 26.64 meters long and built at an altitude of 1,010 meters. You can look down to view a vertical drop of 718 meters to the ground below. There are no steel supports directly below the walkways of the horseshoe-shaped viewing floors and guardrails are all transparent pieces of glass to allow you an unobstructed, and stunning panoramic vista.

The geological park also has a couple of caves, such as the Dragon Cave and the Daan Cave, filled with natural mineral deposits and neon lights for an enhanced visual effect that makes it perfect for exploration.


The park is home to the worldĄŻs largest glass cantilevered bridge, one of China's many engineering triumphs. Walking on the bridge is not for the faint-hearted as it has no steel supports, but it does give you a feeling of floating above the wonderful landscape.
