6.Cruise cancellations and itinerary changes by Century Cruises

Every effort is made to adhere to published schedules. However, Century Cruises reserves the right to cancel, advance, postpone, or alter any cruise itinerary or route for any reason, including, but nor limited to ¡°force majeur¡±, strikes, lockouts, war, government action, riots, terrorism, weather, flood or other river conditions, river traffic, mechanical difficulties, or for any other reason, at any time, and may, but is not obliged to, substitute another vessel or port of call, and shall not be liable for any loss whatsoever to passengers by reason of such cancellation, advancement, postponement, alteration or substitution. Century Cruises will not be required to refund any portion of the fare or make other compensation when alterations occur.

7.Medical considerations and Refusal of passage:

The passenger represents and warrants that he/she is fir to travel and that his/her conduct will not impair the safety of the vessel or inconvenience other passengers. Century Cruises shall not assume responsibility for the care or welfare of passengers with any physical or mental handicap or disability.


Passengers with disabilities requiring any form of assistance must be accompanied by an adult over 21 years of age, who is capable of and will assume total responsibility for providing the assistance required. Any pre-cruise condition which may or will require medical treatment or attention during the cruise must be reported to Century Cruises in writing when the booking is requested, or if such condition arises after the booking is requested and prior to the boarding date for that guest¡¯s cruise, as soon as said condition becomes known. Passengers may need to submit additional documents from a doctor, when deemed appropriate by Century Cruises. Century Cruises will not board passengers who will have entered their third trimester of pregnancy by the beginning of their trip.

If, in the opinion of the ship¡¯s physician or the ship¡¯s captain, a passenger is unfit to continue on a Century Cruises sailing, he/she may be discharged at any port at which the ship calls without any liability to Century Cruises. Century Cruises shall not be required to refund any amount paid by said passengers who must be confined to or leave the cruise prematurely for any of the reasons set forth herein, nor shall Century Cruises be responsible for any and all other expenses incurred by the passenger by reason of leaving the cruise early. Century Cruises shall ne entitled to tale any course of action deemed appropriate under the circumstances. Passengers are required to bring sufficient quantities of their own medications and medical supplies for their entire trip throughout China. Guests dependent on oxygen therapy must advise Century Cruises at the time of booking and must meet certain requirements prior to boarding the vessel, including supplying all oxygen needed for the trip ?C contact your travel agent for details. Tendering may preclude guests with wheelchairs from going ashore at certain ports.

Each ship¡¯s health clinic is run by a local doctor who is an independent contractor, and Century Cruises does not control and is not responsible for the medical services provided. Treatment is accepted at the passenger¡¯s own risk. The ships¡¯ health clinics have limited medical equipment, and not all medical conditions can be treated adequately on the ship. While every effort will be made to arrange for emergency treatment on shore when required, availability of medical care in ports along the river may be limited. Customary fees will apply, and medication is at additional cost.
