Morning Shore Excursion to the Three Gorges Dam Project site which is the largest Hydra-electronic project in the world.
Join the Optional Tour to the fabulous the Three Gorges Tribe in the afternoon.
Ship departs from Maoping pier and sail into the west part of the Xiling Gorge.

Shennv Stream (B,L,D)

Cruise sails through the Wu gorge & Qutang Gorges, Shore excursion to Shennv Stream . It’s literally named “Goddess Stream”.Due to the perpendicular mountains, deep valleys and turbulent water, very few people reaches this area, so as the scenery in it are still in a pristine state, thus worth visiting while you are cruising along the magnificent Yangtze Three Gorges.Join optional tour to the historical & cultural White Emperor City in the afternoon.A Crew Cabaret Show after dinner at night .

Shibaozhai Pagoda (B,L,D)

In the morning, excursion at Shibao Zhai Pagoda, a 12-story wooden pagoda which rests against the rock wall of mountain, where you can also climb up to the top for a panoramic view of the winding river, the village and the countryside is definitely a must see.

All the times on the schedule are estimated ones which are subject to change due to weather and navigation conditions. All shore excursions departure times and duration are approximate and may subject to change if considered unsafe to operate.

*GOOD TO KNOW :

T If there is additional time, one or two optional shore excursions may be organized according to sailing conditions. The optional shore excursions include White Emperor City, Ghost City, The Tribe of the three Gorges or the Ship Lift of the Dam. The fee for the optional shore excursions is not included in the cruise package.

As safety goes first, In case the low water level or um-permitted river conditions effect Century Cruises arrival in the home-port of Chongqing, the ship will embark and disembark in Fengdu or Fuling, where is about one and half hours bus ride to Chongqing. Century Cruises will be responsible for the transfer between Fengdu or Fuling to Chongqing.

Shore Excursions:
Once purchased, shore excursions are non-refundable, either in whole or in part. Shore excursions are handled by local ground operators in China, and Century Cruises only acts as their sales agent. Century Cruises has no control over those shore excursions and may not be held liable or responsible for any changes, omissions or accidents that may occur, or for any unforeseen circumstances that arise. Century Cruises is not responsible for any injuries or losses sustained while guests are ashore. Portions of the areas operation for Yangtze cruises are undeveloped and isolated. Docking facilities often are floating barges with gangplanks. Climbing steps and walking is sometimes required on shore. Tipping of river guides, local guides, drivers and boatmen (who are not Century Cruises employees) is not included, and while recommended, is only at your discretion.

Cruise cancellations and itinerary changes by Century Cruises
Every effort is made to adhere to published schedules. However, Century Cruises reserves the right to cancel, advance, postpone, or alter any cruise itinerary or route for any reason, including, but nor limited to “force majeur”, strikes, lockouts, war, government action, riots, terrorism, weather, flood or other river conditions, river traffic, mechanical difficulties, or for any other reason, at any time, and may, but is not obliged to, substitute another vessel or port of call, and shall not be liable for any loss whatsoever to passengers by reason of such cancellation, advancement, postponement, alteration or substitution. Century Cruises will not be required to refund any portion of the fare or make other compensation when alterations occur.
